How are you all? I hope not many of you had the snow we had in the middle of the week!!!
Today is was a beautiful day lovely bright and sunny although the wind was brisk. It was the kind of day you wanted to be out in the yard working except that it is far too cold here yet and nothing is growing. I know though it won't belong until the weather warms up and then I will be too HOT
LOL LOL!!!!!!!!!!
So I shall say no more about the weather :o)
I made a card today for the Magnolia-
licious April Challenge. Many in the group have made theirs already and I am sure you have seen a lot of them. They are absolutely beautiful - they get better every month.
I plod along here doing the best I can. I have had an idea in my head for some time now and today I thought I would try to get it on a card! WELL...........you know how it goes some times. You can't seem to do what you thought you could and you thought you had something but you don't and the card keeps changing as the time goes on.
This is the end result of my card for today. It is coloured with
Copics of course - and I am out of several colours and can't find anyone in Vancouver or area who sells the
reinkers :o(.......You may notice my little girl is very light today as I barely had enough ink to finish her off in the colours I like to use. My card stock is
Bazzil with a texture and my two DP are some I picked up such a long time ago in Vancouver, but they don't have names on the back of them :o( , I also used
SU soft sky. The elements I used were some micro beads for the seaweed, two MS punches for the shell and the sea horses, and 3 tiny shells I collected.
Here is the front of the card:
Here is a better close up of Tilda:
Here is a picture of the embellishments:
And finally a photo of the inside:
I hope you can figure out what I was trying to accomplish here :o)
Have a GREAT weekend everyone and see you back here real soon, I hope!
Thank you - Candy
