Graduation Card for my Grandson

One more addition today. Would you believe they have graduation ceremonies for little ones in pre-school? I had no idea! LOL
My little grandson had his celebration on Friday afternoon. My son sent me awesome pictures of him wearing his tux that I had bought him last month when he was here visiting me. He wore a white graduation hat and got a diploma. He was SO excited that he would be going to kindergarten in September and would be a big boy. I just had to make him a card and this is it.
The blue card stock is Bazzil and the Harlequin is from Paper Salon. The gold that I used my 'Congrats' Cuttlebug embossing folder on, is the other side of the Harlequin paper. I attached the congrats paper with two white star shaped eyelets and then attached that paper with 3 - D dots. The Star is the largest from the 'Stampin'Up Set - In the Stars'. I punched it out with the largest 'Stampin'Up' star punch and attached it also with 3 - D dots. The 'Superboy'is from 'Pink Cat Studios #14 Billy stamps' . He is coloured as I usually do with 'Prismacoloured' pencils, stumps and unscented mineral spirits. He is attached with some thinner 3 - D dots. He will go to my grandson in the mail tomorrow.

Lots of learning with new blog!

So it seems you didn't get to see my mistake - I guess that is good - except that I mentioned it and it wasn't there LOL. One card is missing - this is it:
This one is also made with Bazzil and Whisper White and some pretty paper from my old stash that I love. I used my rectangle Nestability scallop here. It is painted in the same manner as all of the others, and the wind has stickles on it.

Oops - as you can see I didn't know how to add this third card properly! Sorry . . . .Trying again - I have added the other three cards. All of the are coloured the same way as the first two. They are all fairly plain, as I didn't know just who would be buying them. Most of them have stickles on them and on some of them I have used 3 -D tape to raise various portions of them. As you can see the cancer ribbons are different colours and stand for different types of cancer. The first card in this grouping of 3 has ribbon that says 'perhaps I am stronger than I think'.

Cancer Cards

I made 5 cards for a Cancer fund raiser in Ontario. I delerately made them fairly plain as they were going so far in the mail I didn't want them to be ruined.
This first one I made with my brand new Nestiabitlies using both the plain and scalloped round. It is made with Bazzil Cardstock and Whisper White from Stampin'Up. Across the top of the card I used something new I just bought. It is called Frame Tape - Lace No.2 and is made by 'around the block'. It is like paper ribbon, really, and has an adhesive backing on it. This image was coloured with 'Prismacolour' pencils, stumps and unscented mineral spirits.

Hi - this is the first entry into my new blog. I am fairly quiet and shy so we will just have to see what I end up putting in here for you to see and read!
What ever it may end up being I hope you enjoy looking.
