Watch out for the Orange!

* Please find my Magnolia Challenge Card
one Post down :o)

Another quick post for you all.

I made a birthday card for my second cousin.
Her favourite colour is ORANGE.
As you can see the card was made
JUST FOR JAMIE.

It has been done for a while, but
I didn't want to show it until I thought
she had received it.

I also signed the card before I
remembered to take pictures of the
inside - I apologize. I
didn't want to take pictures
with the private message on it.

Anyway Jamie is now 27 and is moving
into her first home on August
first as well!!!
Very Happy for you Jamie :o)

 I have coloured a
Krista Smith
Saturated Canary Image.

had time for a quick card -
sorry!!

My Granddaughter, 7 year old Mariah,

I used Frantage again but am

it more often to get it right!

Everyone has problems....

Good Morning Dear Friends!

*My July 9th Post has Blog Candy
on it - please leave a comment
for that day and you may win it!
There are only 11 comments!!*

I am getting right into the problem
today. It's Tilda, and she has a big
one.

She is running away as fast
as she can - I sure hope
she makes it!

Just look at her go....

Looks like she has had 'second thoughts'!

And I know why!

The sweet Edwin she thought
she was marrying showed his
true colours this morning.
He is NOT the kind and gentle man
he has portrayed himself to be.

The Minister was a bit late -
and Edwin wasn't in the mood
to wait any longer!

No wonder Tilda's running.
I wouldn't want to live with
this guy either!
I wouldn't trust him
as far as I could throw him!
Thank goodness for the late
Minister......

I am just thankful
he showed his real self
before they were hitched
together for ever!

A Little Bird Told Me

Good Wednesday Morning to you!!

Hope your day is a good one.

( blog candy is on yesterdays blog -
you can leave a comment.
 Name will be chosen on
Tuesday July 23rd next Challenge Day)

It is WEE WEDNESDAY today

Sheri and I have made cards
to give you some ideas
for the WEE STAMPS.
We buy our stamps from
DIANA at Magnolia-licious - Stamps, Dies and so much more.
How do you like the new name??
Great eh?
Same address as always
Diana is carrying SO MUCH more now!!!

My Wee Stamp is called:
BIRD SWING.
It is soooo cute.

My Design Paper is from Graphic 45
and is called - Secret Garden.
Card Stock is from SU - Kraft.
The whole card is antiqued in some way.
All the paper has been inked with TH - Antique Linen.
The pages have been torn and/or distressed with my scissors.

The paper lace Die is from DIANA'S STORE
as is the Bird Cage Die.
I stamped my image on a Spellbinder Die.
The metal corner, pearls and rhinestones are from
my stash. I made the flower from card
stock, inked it up and punched a half
inch hole of the DP,
which I attached, then added the rhinestone.
I used my 'atyouSpica' gold pen
for the metal of the swing.

Here are a few more pictures for you:

Close up of birds:

Metal corner:

Glimpse of paper:

Finally a side view:

Make sure to visit Sheri
to see her beautiful
card.
Her address is on my side bar :o)

See you on MINI MONDAY!

HOT LITTLE TILDA

Good Morning Peeps :o)
I love that word!

* I have blog candy today *

Today's Challenge at
is
SOME LIKE IT HOT

I have used # 398 Tilda in Key Largo
from the Summer Memories Collection
2012.
The weather has been strange for some time. Fortunately (or unfortunately LOL ) at my house
( this week ) it is hot hot hot!

Little Tilda decided to take a long
bike ride, having no idea how hot she
would get! As she past the lake
she just had to take a dip.

card front:

She had her new summer dress on
and knew she couldn't get it wet, so she
waded in as deep as she could.

She took of her sunglasses and laid
her bike safely on the grass.
The sun was beating down on her,
but getting her feet and legs wet
made her feel so much better.

open at one fold

For today I made a different kind
of folded card. I am sorry I can't
remember what it is called or where
I saw it :o(  It might be called
a side fold?

right side when open

On the left side there is a mountain
and two valley folds - so there is a lot
of room for writing. Also that is
how it stands up.

I used a punch from Michael's Reflection
Line which is a summer theme of
sand castles, pails and shovels.
I punched both the top and
bottom of my card and used
quite a bit of Tim Holtz
distress ink: Vintage Photo
to make it stand out.

I have used Nitwits Paper
called Hello Sunshine for my design paper.
The whole card, back and front
are covered completely with it.
My Card Stock is Whisper White from S.U.

As well as Tilda, the sun is a Magnolia
Stamp called: Tilda's sun.
Both dies are from Magnolia as well.
I punched out two grasses in
different colour greens, and the bicycle
which I used the same Distress Ink,
plus some Stickles.

I alternated the grass and slid the
bike down and between the grass.
The sun was stamped on my paper,
coloured and cut out.
The rays of the sun are bent in
different ways and fall off
the card.

This is my first time using
Frantage! I love it, but
learned I need to apply it
differently next time.

I also used the blue Pearl Pen
for the first time on my card.
Believe it or not I have practiced
quite a while with it to get
my pearls perfected. BUT
when I took the lid off
and turned it over to use
it dropped like water on my card :o(
It was so hot in my house it
had melted!! So of course it
doesn't look good at all.

The glasses are from my stash
and the seashells are some that
I have collected. They are so tiny.
Most of my shells are a lot larger,
but these ones were so pretty.

You must check out
The last collection called
'Special Moments'
is just lovely for
Wedding and Anniversary Cards,
and more.

A little bird has told me there
is already another Collection
on its way soon!!!!
So keep watching :o)

Diana has so many other things in her store
besides stamps. She has paper with
matching envelopes, charms, many die
companies, glue, tape, Spectrum Noir Pens
 - you name it.
A wonderful array of special things!

I buy everything from Diana.
Her service is quick, her prices are
THE BEST, and she is just
such a wonderful lady!
