For Someone Special

I have made my final project for 'The Town Scrapper'. I promised to show you all when I had made the card to match....
These are stamps from the 'Greeting Farm'. So I decided to make a little gift with them.
I had an idea that a little girl who was going to go on a long car or plane ride might like to play with these. They would be a good gift for a little one in the hospital as well.

As well as the Greeting Farm stamps I used a number of Magnolia images to finish up the fun. I used all of the stamps and made some Magnetic Paper Dolls with them. I have had a lunch kit here for some time so I decorated it a bit and used it to house the dolls and also it is a small place to play with them on the lid.

I used DP from DCWV Nursery Pack - Baby girl, and a bunch of ribbons that I had on hand,
The images were stamped on magnetic sheets I found at 'Staples'. They are just called Magnet Sheets - Gloss White. I coloured them with my Copics, but on the glossy paper I was unable to blend the colours as I would have liked to. I think they look OK though?

This is how I put them in the lunch box. The ones on the lid are ready to play with and the ones on the sides and bottom are the extra ones......

Then I made a card with the left over paper to match the gift......

I am not listing the colours I used tonight as I must have used every Copic I owned to colour the images LOL
Hope you enjoy looking at my little gift. I would love to know what you think of it?
Thanks for your visit. Enjoy the rest of your long weekend.

Lazy Days

Happy long weekend, everyone! I hope there are still some 'Lazy Days' ahead for most of you.....
I have received my new 'Lazy Days Magnolia Stamps' from Diana ( her site is on the right side of my blog ). It is always so exciting to receive the next new Collection!!! Many girls have made stamps with this set, but I had to add mine as well.
This is 'Loves Me - Tilda'. Oh, I had such a hard time deciding which to stamp first! LOL LOL

I stamped Tilda and the little bench onto white card stock and coloured them with my Copics and then cut them out. I adhered the bench to my DP - Imaginisce Baby Powder - Baby's Breath - which I had cut out with my large oval Nestibility. Tilda was then adhered with 3 D tape. My card stock is SU 'Pretty in pink' cut 11 1/2" by 5 1/2" to make a 5 1/2" square card. I cut out white card stock and the other side of the DP for the 3 strips I put onto the front of the card. I then made some daisy like flowers which I also coloured with Copics and added flower soft to the centers. After shaping them just a little bit they were attached to my card with glue dots.

I know this card is very simple when compaired to my fellow stampers at Magnolia-licious. I just had the time to make a quick card in between getting ready to go away fishing for a month. The inside is just as simple:

Thank you for coming to look at it and I hope it put a little smile on your face..........
