It's raining cats and dogs at my house today and the temperature is dropping each day. Didn't get my walk in because of the weather, but the past two days had to wear some mittens to keep my hands warm!
Since I won some wonderful digital images from Sassy Cheryl's I want to enter her challenges when I am able.
This week the challenge is to use Tulle on your card. I had just bought some of this stuff about a week ago but really didn't know too much to do with it. So I tried one of the Lollypop flowers I had heard about.
My tulle shopping spree didn't 'net' ( LOL LOL ) me too many colours, so to match my card I used two colours together to hopefully get the softer tone of blue that was required. White and Turquoise were used alternately.
I'll show you the card front:
Here is a closer picture of my Digi Image: Tiny Tabitha and my flower:
I used some awesome Design Paper from last year of MME called 'I Believe'
The card front uses SU Real Red and the strip of red down the middle is Bazzil Polka dots in red.
I distressed all my papers with Tim Holtz Distress ink called 'Vintage Photo'.
Used Crystal Stickles on each flower layer with a red rhinestone in the middle.
Here is the inside of the card - Left side:
The right hand side:
I coloured Tiny Tabitha with my Copics - brand new red juicy ones that I had trouble controlling!! ( I will list the colours at the end ) I used SU Dazzling Diamonds on her hat and at the bottom of her coat. I used Crystal Lacquer
on her shoes and the ice she is standing on - don't think you can see that :o(
Used a brand new Spellbinder Nestie to me: 'Lacey Squares' - large.
Other than my adventure with the red colours this image was a real joy to colour. I printed her onto Cryogen White card stock with all the little glitter pieces in it and also used a piece on the inside for writing. The lovely bright red ribbon is from SU as well.
Hope you like this little card......
Love, Candy

OMG this is UBER CUTE!! Funny I just bought some images from Sassy Cheryl's today! Me and my sister did and she made a card using one of hers. We bought the colored ones. HA HA HA! For people who don't know how much work goes into coloring, they'll get those ones. I love the image you used and the tulle flower is sooo pretty!! Luv glitter!
Oh I just LOVE this image! The color choices are wonderful too. I also love how you always finish your cards from front to back. Beautiful work!
I love this 'Little Tabitha' card. Super adorable. I love that you show the entire card too, not just the front. And the coloring is superb!

What a darling image... I haven't seen this one before. Thanks for joining us at Sassy Cheryl's challenge this week. Great card! Peggy x
Hi Candy.. this is just a sweet as can be card.. I have been playing with little tabatha too.. she is just darling..
your coloring is wonderful..
I would love to know how your are putting so much fun glitter in the hat etc. without the printer ink running when it gets wet..
I tend not to use glitter for that reason.. but Christmas cards especially should have the sparklys going on..
So glad you joined us in the Sassy Cheryl challenge this week!
hugs
Judy
Hi Judy!
I have never had trouble with my printer ink running. I am surprised to hear that you have!
I use many different products for glitter, but on this card I used 'Quickie Glue Pen' made by Sakura. It is a pin point, like a ball point pen. They are sold nearly everywhere. While the glue was wet I simply sprinkled 'Stampin'Up' Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
I have used Martha Stewart glitter and her larger Course Glitter on other cards.
I hope you have good luck trying one or another of these :o)
Hugs, Candy
