Merry Christmas from our Family to Yours

Good Morning Dear Blog Friends,

It is time for a NEW CHALLENGE at

You are going to love

She has chosen "PINK CHRISTMAS"
and here is her photo:

I think it is just GORGEOUS!

I wish, I wish, I could have such a thing!

For my card today I have chosen # 395 Tag Gifts Tilda

Here she is:

I am sorry for the bad shadow in the picture.

I have used SU Card Stock Whisper White, Pretty in Pink
and Bashful Blue.
The Design Paper is from NitWits and is
called - Merry and Bright.
( Thank goodness for NitWits! )

Dies are all from Magnolia, bought at
as is my Tilda Stamp :o)

I have used the two brand new snowflakes
dies and the very first tag to come out.

Tilda and the snow flakes on the front
of the card have been mounted with
dimensional tape.

The lace and pearls are a wonderful treat for me
from: Recollections at Micheals.

Candy canes, pink ribbon and pink
jingle bells are all from my stash.

I also added Twinklets to the oval
that Tilda stands in, but first I used Tim Holtz
Antique Linen and did the sides of the oval and tag.

Here is a  bit closer view:

The tag:

We are now back to rain - thank goodness.

by our dear Eulanda.
It is a very different one than usual.
We all enjoyed it!

Eulanda would like to see
Stickles or Glitter on our cards :o)

I put Glitter Ritz everywhere!!
( Thanks Eulanda! )

Every piece of paper is edged in glitter.
Tilda's ruffles are glittered.
The whole die cute is glittered.
Her shoes are even glittered a bit!

Here she is:

I have used #315 - Tilda Learning to Dance,

My card stock is from SU = Riding Hood Red
and Old Olive.
My design paper is very old: it
is from: Upsy Daisy Designs
and is called
'A Walk in the Park'.

Tulle is from my stash -
sentiment from SU - and I made
the pearl pin.

Here is a closer view of the pin and sentiment :

Halloween for Edwin

Hi Friends :o)

Halloween is getting mighty close.

I am sure all your little ones are very excited!

I really hope the weather is good for that evening.

We have had a lot of rain in the last week,
catching up for our very long and hot

I heard today there is already snow near our
house that we will have to drive through as
we arrive home late Monday afternoon.

Today is our

As you know our DESIGN TEAM member
CATHY has chosen our challenges this month.

This week her CHALLENGE is

I had so much fun making my card for this challenge.
I decided to use Mummy Edwin # 145 from the
Poor Edwin doesn't see the light very often.

I have used Memory Box Dies:
Swooping bats
Wrought iron fence
Wrought iron gate.
All purchased from Diana's store.

The pumpkins were stamped using Halloween
Collection 2008. I stamped twice then cut out 3
pumpkins and put them across the bottom.
The Wrought Iron fence and gate were cut and then
put over the pumpkins.

Edwin was coloured in rags
then raised on 3D tape between the opening of the
gate and fence.  After I cut the bats out
I placed them on 3D tape as well.

I had the orange swirl bling in my stash
and laid it over the paper.
Speaking of the paper!
I have had it for YEARS and am sorry
I don't  remember who made it :o(
I cut the part of it that I wanted.
It had more things on it as well.
I also had a brad that I added
on the top right - it is black with
a half moon and two tiny stars.

Here are more pictures for you:

Certainly hope you will join us in our Challenge
for Halloween!

Check out DIANA'S
STORE for all of your needs.

There are several NEW
Stamp Collections there as well
as some great dies!

Thank you so much for your visit to my blog.
You have no idea how much I appreciate it :o)

Tilda with Apples

Good Morning Maggie Friends,

It is a sunny warm fall day, just beautiful with
all the bright coloured leaves.
Would you believe we still
haven't had any rain?
I hear we may get some by
the end of the week, but not much.

Hope where ever you live the weather
is behaving itself.

I am back at my Mother's for a few weeks.
Always lots to do for her.

Today of course is our COLOUR INSPIRATION
The Design Team has outdone themselves again!
Please go see my team mates wonderful work.

The month of October is Cathy Lee's turn
to determine what we will do.

Cathy has a wonderful picture to help us
along this time:

I can't get over the beauty.

So appropriate don't you think?

Time to show you my card:

As you see it is my usual plain and simple work.

I have used APPLE TILDA #3053

My design paper is very old from CTMH -
but I thought just perfect for this challenge.
The red, yellow polka dot and brown
were all from the same set.
From my stash I found this wide red ribbon,
the sunflower charm, also the button candy dots.
I also used red stickles on the lace of her dress.
Once finished I wished I hadn't used it - but
what's done is done :o)

You remember my camera is not itself
so my pictures aren't perfect, I just wanted to
give you an idea of what I have done.

Here is a close-up of Sweet Tilda:

the bow:

the right hand upper corner:

the inside - left :

right side:

Our Walmart no longer carries craft supplies,
but I found a few left over Jolies stickers.
These leaves go so well with the colour choice.

This card is going to a friend who has an
October Birthday :o)

one random winner will receive:

Magnolia-licious Challenge

Good Morning peoples!!

Do you know we are still having
warm summer days here?
No rain for 3 months now!

I'm sure we will get a blast of bad weather
any day . . .
The great thing about this time of year
is that we can actually go out and enjoy
what ever we are doing. No more
sitting in the house with the AC and
hiding from outside LOL

Still my turn for the CHALLENGE
This time I chose buttons on your cards :o)
Any number of them or any colour.
I found this sweet picture on Pinterest
just to show you what you could do with
buttons in your home:

Here is my card for today:

My camera is still broken but my husband has
taped it together for me!
The pictures are a bit better now.

from the Summer Memories Collection.

My paper is Bassil card stock
and Design Paper by Echo Park.
Buttons are all from my stash.

As you can see this is a Criss Cross card today.
Another Clean and Simple one.
Here is close up of Tilda:

She has four buttons on her shorts
which I put wee red buttons on.
I also used buttons on my pull out,
as well as a few on the inside.

I used MS bubble punch for design on the cross over.
Spellbinders Fancy Labels for the pull out,
and another Spellbinder die behind ( Fleur Delis Motifs ) Tilda and on the inside.

Still the pics aren't good but I think much better than before.
I'm sorry about this - I don't know when I can buy
a new camera.

Thank you for visiting me.
I really love to read your comments
and appreciate them all very much.

Love, Candy

Hi Blogging Friends,

It was my turn to pick the Challenges
at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog
this month.

Here is my photo for colours:

I love the way this picture looks
so homey and comfortable.

The colours are anything that you see:
shades of pink, green, cream, white
a few different shades of brown.

My attempt at this Challenge of mine
was a huge comedy of errors from the start!!

I use digital papers most of the time.
As I was printing them out my printer
told me I was out of ink!
So they are all wishy washy!

As I was colouring my wonderful image -
" Little Tilda " #241 from the  'Little Christmas
Collection, several of my Copic Pens
ran dry :o(
All my flesh colours and my soft pinks.
Those are the colours I use the most.
I have to place an order for inks now.

Remember my camera broke
last Challenge - well I haven't
been able to buy a new one yet, so
I asked someone else to take the pictures.
They were so bad the only one that
you could see was the front of the card.
And it looks awful!

I have been sitting here since Tuesday wondering
if I should even post, but I was afraid some of
you would come looking and wonder what the
heck I was up to without one.

So here is my poor poor Little Tilda:

Such a sweet little one.
I will use her again soon in
a new card, hopefully with all my
issues corrected!

I used a small silver corner,
some 'wrinkled' pink seam  binding
with a lovely blingy stone on the top,
plus rhinestones all around the oval.
The inside has the same paper with
a sentiment on the left and an
oval just like this one; with all the
rhinestones, on the right side.

Oh dear - she looks so much better
in real life. Her wings are all sparkly
with Diamond Dust too.

All I can say is I am so sorry I botched
this card up so bad :o(

Please head on over to the CHALLENGE BLOG
to see all the new gals that have joined us this month.
Their work is awesome and will be a wonderful
addition to our TEAM.

Do try to join us this time.
As always, DIANA
will give out a $25.00

Hi and good morning to my blogging friends!

It is Inspiration time at

Jane has chosen the Inspiration this month
and is it ever beautiful!

You must look at the card Jane has made over on
the Blog - it is amazing!!

Here is my card for the Challenge

I have used
" Summer Flower Tilda" #231
from the 'Summer Memories Collection'.

I have hoarded my Magnolia Papers
from each Collection ( I know I am weird )
But I am always looking through them.
I decided to use one this time because it had
flowers and butterflies on it.
But by the time I was finished my card no
butterflies were showing :o(
It is called 'Lovely Butterfly'
from the 'Summer Memories Collection'.
The other papers are from Bazzil.

I tried my hand at flower arranging this time too.
Some are bought from? and some I made.
Butterflies are  Martha Stewart punches.

The gorgeous ruffled ribbon
was bought on an outing with
my friend, but I can't remember the
name of the store, so I will
say it is from my stash LOL LOL

Here is a close up of Tilda

A few more pictures of my card front:

At this point I like to
show you the inside of
my card.
However my camera broke
after this last picture!!
I am truly sorry.

So that's it from me today.

Please take a trip to the CHALLENGE BLOG
to see what marvellous work your
Design Team has for you.

You could win a

Good Morning!

I am happy to be back with you!

You must have a look at the DT's work.
It is all wonderful!

You will find them all HERE

This month our lovely Jane has chosen
both Challenges :o)

Here is her picture for colours:

I see BLUE, PINK, WHITE and a touch of  GREEN.

I don't know if this is a blanket
but it sure looks SOFT.

I used #291 - Scooter Tilda

Here is the front of my card:

What terrible light I had :o(

I was able to get all the colours
from the Challenge on my card
thanks to NitWits paper called
"Bonnets & Bowties.

Here is a close up of Tilda:

I sure had fun colouring the Scooter.
I would love to have a pink one :o)

Here is the inside of my card:

I have used Magnolia Doohickey Dies:
Flowers, Leaves and Swirl.

The lace and blue brad
are from my 'stash'.

I think this maybe the first
time I haven't used Stickles or bling
of some kind on a card!

I stamped 'Mini Scooter Tilda'
on the inside. I have
seen a few people do this
lately and I really love the look!

I'm sorry I wasn't able to keep track
of the Copics I used :o(
I will do so next time for sure.
