Happy Birthday!

Hi Friends!

It's time for another Inspiration Challenge
You may remember that it is Angela's turn for our
challenges this month.

Here is her Inspiration Picture:

Oh I am dying for a piece of this cake!!

Since I couldn't have one, I got down to making my card :o)

This time I used " Edwin with Airplane" #127
from the new Prince and Princess Collection 2012.
This is another order - for a year old Boy.
I thought the stamp was perfect :o)

I have to apologize for the darkness of my pictures.
We have had nothing but snow for I don't know
how long now; and I simply can't get enough light :o(
I hope you can still see the card well enough?

My CS is from SU and is called Almost Amethyst.
Design paper is from DCWV - Nana's Nursery - Boy.
I used TH Antique Linen Distress Ink around each piece of paper.
Pearls, Seam binding, and Stickles were from my stash.
I used a "Clear Dollar Stamp" for both greetings.

Here is a close up of Edwin:

He's just a doll!

Here is the inside left:

Here is the verse a bit closer:

and the right side:

The lady who ordered this is sending it to
Narn, Scotland.  Hope
that it gets all that way in good condition!

It has been a busy time for me in the last while.

Another LOTV card

Hello my Friends,

Awk it's still snowing!!
Four days in a row....
Very strange indeed.

I am thrilled that I have been receiving
orders to make cards for people!!
I sure hope they have all been happy with what
I have made.

Last week I was asked to make
an Anniversary card.
I love my LOTV stamps so made
an other one :o)

I have been challenging myself to do something
different and it was the colour of paper I used again
this time. I am a pastel person - you may have
noticed - but I used brown and orange
card stock on this one.
I wasn't sure if it would look like
an Anniversary card - but think in
the end it does.

I drew the branches and leaves and also
the rope of the swing.
I cut out the sweet little couple
and mounted them with 3D tape.
All the papers were edged with
TH Vintage Photo distress ink.

Here's a close up for you:

The design paper is by
Bo Bunny is called A Gift Of Love
and has pink and orange trees on it.
This one I coloured with Copics.
I will put the list at the end of the post.

I hand made the flowers on this one.
I don't think they look so good in the photo,
but in real life they are quite nice.

Here is the left hand side on the inside:

Here is the RHS:

Thank you SO much for taking a look at my card :o)

Thank you card using LOTV image.

Hi Friends,

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.
We had nothing but rain and bad winds.

I have been watching all the destruction and deaths from
the bad tornadoes last week and have
all the people in my heart.

I made a card last week and thought I
would show it to you.
This is a Thank You card.

It is a Lily Of The Valley stamp
called 'Positively Pampered'.

I used very unusual colours for me
on this card!
Crushed Curry from SU.
Unknown Wine card stock,
which I put through my Big Shot and
embossed with Polka Dots.
I always use Cryogen Paper to colour on.
The Design paper is Basic Gray: Lemonade.

Here is the sweet Fairy close up:

I actually used yellow Flock!!
Haven't used flock forever :o)
and should have put more on.
The Gold pearls are from Michaels.
All of the card stock and DP has been
distressed using TH Antique Linen.
Can't believe I actually made some decent
rolled flowers....finally have it mastered.

I thought you might like to see the sparkles:

and here is the inside:

I know you aren't used to me making any cards
besides Magnolia - but I am starting to use
a lot of other stamps and digi images.
I'm having a lot of fun!
And so appreciate the few of you who
are taking a peak at them :o)

Hope to see you soon.

Love, Candy
