Long time no see..........

Hi everyone!

Lots going on here and it has been difficult for me to make cards.

I did make one for my son, Shawn and his family to welcome them to their new home this Friday and then I forgot to take pictures of it. I was in a big hurry to get it on it's way........

Anyway, tonight I have made another card for 'The Town Scrapper' This is another CC Rubber Stamp image called ' Sea Shell Trevor ', he is so cute!!! I have used design paper that Phebe sent me and I coupled it with Turquoise blue and white card stock. I used my Nestibilities label One set - the largest die, and stamped little Trevor right on it. The sun is a stamp from Magnolia and it was stamped coloured and cut out and then mounted with dimensionals. The sentiment is from CC designs as well and was cut out with my punch and then a blue one was cut and mounted behind it.
This time I only added a few seed beads to the sand and two sea shells, and of course, Trevor's sun glasses that he has just dropped on the sand in his excitement to find these extra large sea shells.
All colouring was done with my Copics. I made a navy knot - or sea knot with some Macrame cord and attached a metal shell to it.

This last little picture is for my dear friend Deb to check out as well as the rest of you. I don't have the money to have a special stamp designed for me - so I made this one up myself for the back of my cards. If any of you have a comment about it - I would love to hear it. Please let me know what you think. Too much information - not enough - the wrong kind???

A Special Birthday Card - Gorjuss

Good Evening Everybody!

We have cloud cover today and had a couple of raindrops but that was all and it is SO HUMID!! It is the heat that is making me feel lousy! Thank you to all of you who told me to get better soon - you are so kind :o)

Today I made a Birthday Card for my new Daughter-In-Law! She will be 24 ....sounds so good doesn't it?

The DP I used was Cloud 9 Designs - Sunrise Dots and the other side of it as well - plain blue; and I also used Imaginisce - Fairest of them all and the other side called Sweet Satin Ribbons. I used
SU Card Stock - Pink Pirouette and Certain Celery. From my stash I used 2 sizes of white pearls, white satin ribbon, a large brad that says Celebrate, Sterling Silver Jewelry spacers, and Crystal Lacquer for the rain drops. The stamped image is a Lovely Gorjuss Girl :o)

Tilda takes a vacation......

Well Tilda is real tired of the city in all this heat and decided that now is a great time for a vacation. She is going to take the bus into the country with the hope of cooling off and just do nothing for a couple of weeks!!! I would love to join her how about you?? The only trouble is the bus is taking forever to get here...........how long does she have to wait?????

The DP is American Crafts - The colour of Memories. Card stock is SU Summer Sun and Taken with Teal. I used parts of the Magnolia stamp - 'summer background'. The grassy hill I made myself. Other stamps are 'Traveller Tilda' and 'Magnolia Suitcases'. I coloured with Copics, and did a tiny bit of paper piecing on her blouse and purse.

My card tonight is made with DP from Karen Foster called Grad Caps. My card stock is SU Brushed Gold and Bravo Burgundy. I coloured with my Copics and used the Gold Atyou Spica Glitter pen.

I wish I had a lot of other stamps and embellishments so I could have made this card differently, but I hope you like it a little bit.

Happy Thursday to All

Hi Everyone!


One more day to the weekend. Bet everyone is looking forward to it! We are still very nice and hot here. Hope the rest of you have good weather.


Today I made a summer Tilda card. I used Creative Imaginations DP. Card stock is from SU : Whisper White, Summer Sun and Pacific Point. Ribbon from Michaels. Flip Flop from my stash.
Paper Flip Flops made with EK Success Punch. Behind Tilda I have sponged a very very soft blue and yellow near the horizon line - I don't know if it will show up in the picture. Of course I have used Diamond Glitter on Tilda's wings.

I made another card this evening with a really sweet image from 'The Greeting Farm'. These images are available at 'The Town Scrapper.I had so much fun colouring the image cause they are large with happy faces!

I used Imaginisce DP - white and pink card stock. Imaginise Ribbon from Phebe as well!
I used my two largest oval Nestibilties both in plain and in scalloped. A large yellow heart button from my stash. Pearls from my stash. Fiskars Border Punch and of course I coloured with my Copics.

Here is a close up of the side panel. I was able to thread the ribbon through the button and tie a bow.

This was a really fun card to make. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.
