Another LOTV card

Hello my Friends,

Awk it's still snowing!!
Four days in a row....
Very strange indeed.

I am thrilled that I have been receiving
orders to make cards for people!!
I sure hope they have all been happy with what
I have made.

Last week I was asked to make
an Anniversary card.
I love my LOTV stamps so made
an other one :o)

I have been challenging myself to do something
different and it was the colour of paper I used again
this time. I am a pastel person - you may have
noticed - but I used brown and orange
card stock on this one.
I wasn't sure if it would look like
an Anniversary card - but think in
the end it does.

I drew the branches and leaves and also
the rope of the swing.
I cut out the sweet little couple
and mounted them with 3D tape.
All the papers were edged with
TH Vintage Photo distress ink.

Here's a close up for you:

The design paper is by
Bo Bunny is called A Gift Of Love
and has pink and orange trees on it.
This one I coloured with Copics.
I will put the list at the end of the post.

I hand made the flowers on this one.
I don't think they look so good in the photo,
but in real life they are quite nice.

Here is the left hand side on the inside:

Here is the RHS:

Thank you SO much for taking a look at my card :o)

Love, Candy

Thank you card using LOTV image.

Hi Friends,

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.
We had nothing but rain and bad winds.

I have been watching all the destruction and deaths from
the bad tornadoes last week and have
all the people in my heart.

I made a card last week and thought I
would show it to you.
This is a Thank You card.

It is a Lily Of The Valley stamp
called 'Positively Pampered'.

I used very unusual colours for me
on this card!
Crushed Curry from SU.
Unknown Wine card stock,
which I put through my Big Shot and
embossed with Polka Dots.
I always use Cryogen Paper to colour on.
The Design paper is Basic Gray: Lemonade.

Here is the sweet Fairy close up:

I actually used yellow Flock!!
Haven't used flock forever :o)
and should have put more on.
The Gold pearls are from Michaels.
All of the card stock and DP has been
distressed using TH Antique Linen.
Can't believe I actually made some decent
rolled flowers....finally have it mastered.

I thought you might like to see the sparkles:

and here is the inside:

I know you aren't used to me making any cards
besides Magnolia - but I am starting to use
a lot of other stamps and digi images.
I'm having a lot of fun!
And so appreciate the few of you who
are taking a peak at them :o)

Hope to see you soon.

Love, Candy

Shabby Tilda

Hello friends,

It is time for the MAGNOLIA-LICIOUS
CHALLENGE BLOG.

has chosen our INSPIRATION
this time.

Here is her picture:

THINK SPRING

The buds on 'my' Magnolia Tree
have been formed for some time now.
The weather is so mild.

My entry for the CHALLENGE
is "Tilda Loves Flowers" #280
from the
"Sweet Crazy Love Collection".
Not only is she in stock; she is
ON SALE for 10% off right now!

Here she is in all her glory:

I have used SU Very Vanilla card stock,
for the card, one of the layers, wreath
and butterflies.
The two Design Papers are also
from SU if I remember correctly.
My new die :o) is from
and is called CATALINA WREATH
and is made by Memory Box.
The butterfly punch is from MS.

I used SU Dazzling Diamonds
around the edge of all butterflies
and also all the little dots
from the flower bouquet.
I wasn't sure if they were supposed to
be Babys Breath or not? Thinking they were,
I used my white Sharpie pen and put dots
in them all and added the 'bling'

For the first time I used the Pearl Pen.
I didn't have anything to put on the butterflies.
I DID practice making large pearls
and the pen was awesome.
However when putting tiny ones on
my card - of course they didn't turn
out as well as I wanted LOL

I used my Zutter tool and REALLY
sliced up all my paper.
Then used Tim Holtz
Vintage Photo Distress Ink on all the
coloured card stock.
I used his Tattered Rose ink on
all the vanilla pieces.
After cutting out my die cut I cut it
in half and used the two pieces
behind Tilda.

Here is the inside:

Sure looks like I put that Spellbinder
Die on an angle doesn't it!!
I didn't
notice it till I saw the picture!
The new MB die is whole this time
and there is one teeny butterfly.
The writing space is very simple.

Hope you like my try at the
INSPIRATION this time.

Many thanks for taking a peek
at my work. I love to read your
comments. They make my day.

Hugs,
Candy

Happy Hump Day!

Hi dear friends,

Another quick post from me today.
Gosh it is hard to find the time to do all I
would like to in a day LOL

Here is another Birthday Card.
This one is for my girlfriend -
the longest friend I have ever had.
We haven't lived near each other in many,
many years, but still keep in touch :o)

This is a digital image from Darcy's Diary.
 Don't you love her?
I adore them all.

I put all the papers through my Zutter
distressing  tool and had so much fun.
Each piece has Tim Holtz Antique Linen
ink on it.
I also used a brand new and beautiful die
from DIANA CRICK'S  amazing

Here is a closer look:

And there are more yet you may be interested in:

THE BLING ONLY -  you are not seeing double LOL

Winter Birthday Card

Hi Friends!

I almost forgot to Blog the Birthday Card I made for our
Daughter-In Law!!

I made it just after my first Maggie Card of the year.
I was in such a hurry to send it off I forgot
to keep track of my Copic colours.
Sorry about that...

Her Birthday is in the beginning of January
and we had snow at that time.
That's why I used the image I did from MO MANNING.

Here is the front:

As you can see I used stickles and lace from my stash.
I also used 3 Spellbinder dies - for the tag. the white circle
and the blue circle.
I placed red rhinestones from my stash around the
fancy circle as well.
I placed snowflakes in rhinestones too.
The pretty blue ribbon is from S.U.

I have a close-up for you:

Also another one of the front where I am
hoping you can see some of the bling:

Here is the inside left :

Sorry I can't show you the RHS - I had written
on the card before I remembered to take pictures of it :o(

A short post today.

Hoping you are having a good weekend.
See you soon,
Hugs, Candy

Here is my card:

I have used EDWIN WITH STOLEN HEART
He is from the SWEET CRAZY LOVE COLLECTION.

I made this card for my 39 year old son's Birthday.
I didn't want to make it 'pretty' so decided to go
with PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

I was so lucky to have this Design Paper called
'New Addition' from PEBBLES.
I thought I had used it all - but I had some left :o)

Here is the inside:

Plus a close up of Edwin:

I was planning to make his runners brown  -
but completely forgot to when I got to that
point - DUH....

Please take a trip to our
to see the rest of
the DT's wonderful creations.

Don't forget you can win a
$25.00 GIFT CERTIFICATE
from DIANA!!

I used buttons from my collection
and threaded them with coloured floss.
I added Crystal Lacquer to his heart.

I coloured Edwin with Copics:

jeans: B97, B95, B93
skin: E21, E00, E000 & R30, R20
heart: R39, R37, R35
