Do you feel spring in the air? I'm still waiting :o) But really looking forward to it.

I have started Nordic Walking and have lost 1/3 of my body weight between that, exercise and eating properly for Diabetes. I can hardly wait to walk in the sunshine and not in the rain and be able to get out everyday and not have to wait for snow to melt *grin*!

Here is the card I have made for the Challenge:

I have seen this sweet sweet Tilda all over blog world this past couple of weeks.         Everyone is so in love with her. I hope I have done her justice.

I was waiting and waiting for a sunny day to take my pictures - ran out of days and had to take them on a very dark and rainy day. Please accept my apology for them being so dark :o(

My images are:

Here is a picture a bit closer of the Bunny Background:

I found the scene wasn't quite big enough for what I wanted so I used my Copic Multiliner Pen

0.3 and drew more ground, tall grass and flowers and clouds as well as little dots of shadow so it matched the image I stamped.

Here is Tilda with her little friend:

If you look closely you can just detect the Crystal Lacquer on the bunny's nose :o)

I have also put the same Lacquer liberally onto her boots - couldn't for the life of me get a good picture of it - but have decided to show you a rather bad one - at least you can see the shiny yellow rubber boots!

I also made a 5 loop bow out of some terrific ribbon - here is a picture of it:

I made this with my Bow-Easy of course :o)

St. Patrick's Day's Coming

Hello! Hope you are all well?

Today is a new Colour Challenge at Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog :o)

Our Design Team member, ANGELA, wanted us to use GREEN this month.

Here is her picture:

Doesn't that look nice and fresh?

I just loved it, but wasn't able to do it justice I am afraid.

My problem was paper. Nothing really to work with so had to go a little bit different and on the way my work got much darker than I had intended :o(

Oh well - another time I hope to do better.

My images today are from Diana's store. Edwin with Hat# 153, Tilda with Clover and Hat with Shamrock - neither of which I can find at the moment - sorry about that. I will keep looking and update when I find them.

As you can see the shading around Tilda ended up very dark and not the way I wanted it to be. Also her clothes had to match the paper and I don't have the correct Copic Colours to that justice either.

I am slowly learning how to colour pleats and folds - S L O W L Y :o)

I need much more practice and hope that in the next month or so I will have a lot more time to make cards and you will see a big increase of work on my blog.

At least, that's the plan!!

I have used 'Sitting Baby Tingla' from Diana's store but I am afraid I can't find her anywhere :o(

I bought her a very long time ago and at that time I didn't write down the numbers of the stamps or the Collection that they came from. I just wanted to use a different 'baby' than the new ones that have just come out. I am really sorry!

The brad actually says 'baby' repeated around the flower part of it in pink on the brown around the outside. I wasn't able to get a picture that didn't glare :o(

A brand new Colour Challenge

Hope you are all doing very well.

We have a new Colour Challenge at Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.

This month TRACY has chosen the colours PINK, BLACK, & RED.

I was very lucky to find all I needed for my card right here at home in my 'stash'!

Since I don't have any of the new stamps yet from the 'You're So Special' Collection I have used 'Tilda with Hanging Heart' # 3081 at Diana's store, from the 'Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010'

I think she works OK for Valentine's Day. I didn't have to make a Valentine card but choose to do so....

We won't lie

Hello and Happy Sunday!

Just a quick little post today.

Thought I would show you the card I made for our Grandson, Brandon, for Valentine's Day.

This is a super sweet image from Sassy Cheryl! He is called 'Pinocchio's Valentine Lie'.

He was fun to colour :o)

On the inside I wrote a sentiment on my computer that says: We won't lie.....We want you to be our Valentine. It is from Grandpa and me.
