Hello everyone!!

Well it is in the middle of the night where I live - almost 3:00am as a matter of fact. I will just quickly post this Tilda card I made way last week some time. I really didn't think it was good enough to post but I have been talked into it by friends. So here goes.

This card was made of white card stock on which I drew the background. I then stamped all the different images and cut each one out. Including the skipping rope which was sooooo thin. Then I glued them on to make a scene. Tilda is the only thing that is slightly pop - dotted. I needed her rope to be glued down flat so it wouldn't break. I then put the card front onto a pink background and put my white dots around the edges.

Here is a picture of the entire card:

Here is tha close up of several places :

Unfortunately I accidentally deleted the picture I had of the inside of the card - but i did put matching flowers that I had painted with my copics.

So that's it for me for now. I am hoping to clean up my art room AGAIN this weekend. Trying to get rid of a lot of things I don't use and make it much more tidy and easy to find things.

Hope you all have a great weekend. Thank you all for the wonderful comments you are leaving me. Makes me feel wonderful!

Hi everyone!

Guess what I made? Another Magnolia card? You got it, LOL !!!

This is a colour challenge for February at the Magnolia-licious site. I am very late in getting it done! :o(

The colours we were to use are all SU colours: Rose Red; Regal Rose; Old Olive; and So Saffron. Some of the girls got it done very early and didn't seem to have a problem - well they didn't say one way or another !! LOL

I had a problem. There was no way I could use all of my plain coloured paper and that is mostly what I have from SU. So I got out the colours and went through all of my paper from YEARS ago until I found some that had the correct colours in it. That was a job in itself - I am sure many of you know what I mean LOL LOL!!!!

In the end my card is made with Rose Red, I have cut Regal Rose with my Fiskers border punch and layered that on top. I found a tiny checkered paper of So Saffon and white - this is layered on top of the Regal Rose but it is terribly hard to see the checks. Next I found a lovely design paper that actually has all of the colours in it plus a few more. Unfotunately the other colours where purple and blue on butterflies but ended up being completely covered by Tilda.

As usual Tilda has been coloured with Copics - tonight however she has a paper pieced dress with all of the required coloures in it. Her basket has been filled with one of MS puched leaves in Old Olive and I have added several flower shaped brads in the required colours as well. I decided since you couldn't see my So Saffron layer well; to stamp and cut out the sun in that colour and I have just shaded and highlighted parts of it with Copics. Parts of the sun and Tilda's wings have been glittered, and her boots have diamond glaze on them.

Here are the photos. The front of the card in full:

Hello - It's still Saturday - just LOL

I had tons to do today but was determinded to get at least one other card done. This too is a Magnolia card - sorry for those of you getting tired of them! There are many more kinds I want to make but this was a very short month for me and I got behind in my challenges :o(

This was another Sketch Challenge from the Design Team and is simply called February DC #2. Please note on the right side of my blog is all the information you need if you wish to sign up or buy Magnolia Stamps.

Again all of the DP and Card Stock is from Stampin'Up I have finally got some paper and am enjoying using it!!! This set is called "Cutie Pie"

I used my Nesties to make the oval circle and stamped the oval with
my Alot a Rubber Stamps - I love them! Painted both the oval and Tilda with my Copics of course; giggle. The ribbon is so pretty and I found it a long time ago on sale at Staples! I used my star punch from SU and also a saying from Stampin'Up that I was able to buy way back in September. I used 3 flower brads from my very old stash.

Here is a look at the entire card:

It is a very 'busy' card for me!
Here is a picture of the verse close up:

Here is a close up of Miss Tilda herself:

One of the star on the right hand bottom:

And another of the inside. I didn't go wild here this time as there was so much on the outside of the card.
I hope you like this one and are having an enjoyable weekend. It is pouring with rain tonight where I live, but that means it is warming up at long last. We still have snow on the ground and the ground is frozen!! Hopefully this is the start of warmer weather for us.
Take care of yourselves!!

Happy Saturday!

Here are photos of my new Tilda card. This is the First Sketch Challenge for the month of February. I have used all Stampin'Up DP and plain paper. This paper is called: TEA PARTY and I love it!!! Tilda has been painted with Copics. Her wings have Iridescent Ice on them and the 3 plastic flowers on the top left corner are from Stamping Bella. I attached them to the page and then glued a green seed bead inside each one. I used a corner punch and a border punch on this card.
Here is a close up of Tilda.

Here is a close up of the flowers and beads.

Here is a picture of the inside of the card.
Thank you so much for coming to look at it. I hope to have several more done by the end of the weekend. I hope you all have a very pleasant weekend with good weather where ever you live.

A Little Tuesday Hi

Hello my friends!

Just wanted to say hi to you all since I didn't get back here as soon as I expected to. I hope you are all having nice weather these days. We sure are. We now have had 5 days in a row of sun shine - a bit cool at night still - but enough warmth during the day to melt a lot of our snow. YAY!!!!! I can now see green grass again. The mountains are clear as there is not a cloud in site and they are beautiful to look at.

I do have a little card to show you today.
This one is for a lady who is ill.
It is traveling all the way to The Netherlands, so you will understand why I have made it 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and have no dimension on it. It still has several layers of design paper all made by Imaginisce. I did use Whisper White SU cardstock as my base as I usually do. I don't know the age of the lady this is going to, but I do know she is someones mother and since I wanted to make my Tilda a little different today I made her with gray hair LOL
She has been painted with my Copics and I have put Stickles on her wings and streaks through her hair. I used my Nesties for both of the circles and also one of a set of sentiment dies. The flowers are all from Prima and the bling in the flowers are soft pink crystals.

Here is a look at the full card:

Here are two a bit closer:

and here is the inside:

Thank you all for taking a peak and I hope to be back soon. Take care everyone!

Taking a minute . . . .

Hello!

Just taking a minute to show you a card that did not turn out well today :o(. I am so very disappointed with this one I have made for my 4 year old nephew. I did the card and it was fine - but a little on the plain side. ** note to self - next time take it apart and use polka dot paper **. I decided since it was all finished I would take a minute to put some dots on it. Instead of using my SU markers as I should have** ~ I still had my Copics out and used one of them. D U M B move!!! Especailly using this blue one that has leaked since I bought it!!!!!!!!!!! My dots that I usually can make all the same size - because of the leak are NOT.

So you live and your learn - right?

Here is my disaster:

A bit closer:

NOTE TO SELF : Copics go THROUGH the paper!!!!!!!!!! What you put on the outside is going to show on the inside - DUH
I did use my cuttlebug folder as you can see and since Kaylan will be 4 I put glitter on all the # 4's.

His little verse on the inside:

I hope to have something better to show you a bit later today - If I can think how to do it properly :o(

Hi !!!

Hi everyone!

Some of you may know and some may not, but at the end of all of my emails I have a poem : I'm a
Raggedy
Ann person
in a
Barbie Doll
World.

I got a darling surprise in the mail today. A wonderful RAK from a gal named Jenn Borjeson! I have had so many people write me and comment on it. So nice! :o) Anyway, Jenn liked it a lot as well, and she made me a wonderful card that I love. She also sent me some stamped images inside ( we are on the Bella site together ) and many of the sayings that she made for me!!! What a doll! Have a look at what she sent:

Isn't that THE sweetest card??? THANK YOU SO MUCH, JENN!( she also put a great stamp on the envelope - it is Cinderella. I collect postage stamps and this was an extra gift that Jenn wouldn't have realized! )

I am late with this card, but with luck I can send it special delivery and it will get there on time! I haven't been feeling quite myself the past couple of weeks and am doing everything in slow motion.

This is my Valentine card for my dear mom xoxoxoxo. The stamps are from SU and my Stampin'Up Demonstrator: Glenda. I stamped them with Versamark and used fine gold embossing powder on them. The DP is Making Memories: Love Birds Scallop Love Notes. I have also used Whisper White and Brushed Gold from SU. The large ribbon I picked up somewhere? I also used Shrink Plastic and made a tiny charm which I sewed onto the ribbon. Here is the front of the card:

I forgot to mention the pink paper is Pretty in Pink and I got out my Stampin'Spots and sponged some ink around each heart.
Here is a closer picture:

And one closer of the ribbon:

And a peak at the inside - sorry it is slightly blurred I must have moved! The sentiment says: You mean everything to me.

So that's my news for today ~ I hope you enjoyed looking at the card I made, and especially at the card I received from JENN!!!
Thanks for visiting me. Please remember how much I love to read your delightful comments :o)
