I am home again ~ and I have made a new card!

Hi everyone! Gosh it is good to be home again. I picked the hottest weather to go to visit mom in this time!! But it has been even hotter since I got home this past Saturday! Yesterday we had the all time high in BC for that day : a whopping 110 !!! Can you say H O T ????

I am soooo hot that I made this card for a Magnolia Challenge I saw online and now I have forgotten which Challenge Blog it was for LOL LOL.........I do know it is due today, but that's about all! ~ Oh my.......I have it now - it is "Just Magnolia Challenge" !! Many thanks to all my friends who have sent me the information and to my blog as well. You are so very special!!!!

Anyway I have many Raining Cards to make for my Magnolia-licious Group and am far behind because of being with mom since the beginning of the month. I made one the day before yesterday and was supposed to mail it yesterday, but it got ruined in the heat over night! this is my second attempt for the poor gal it was going to.
This time it is plain without much glue on it so it can't melt away.

This is one of my all time favourite Tilda's and would you believe I don't own her. My lovely friend Jacque Beddingfield stamped me some images of her and this is the first time I have been able to stand to give her away. I am on a mission to find and buy this Tilda..........

Today I have used Whisper white card stock from SU; a beautiful watermelon from my stash of DCWV Glitter Stack and both DP are from another DCWV Stack called Nursery - Baby Girl. I have been wanting to use it forever and my Baby Boy Stack as well!!
Colouring has been done with my wonderful COPIC's again! My sentiment is a very old rub on from Imaginisce, and the white pearls are from MS.
I decided to pierce my glitter paper down both sides today and then I have hand sewn. I have skipped a hole between each stitch. I used MS fancy border punch, my second largest oval Spellbinder ( I only have the small set ) and Diamond Glitter for her wings.

Hope you like Tilda holding her Teddy Bear - I love her:

Here is a close up:

And some of the details:

I will have to post the inside at a later time - sorry I have been called away.......
Love you all and really would be happy to hear comments on this one :o)
Thanks - have a great weekend. A Holiday one in BC, Canada.

Hi Candy. I am feeling the heat too. Hot hot hot--one continuous hot flash, LOL, can't sleep at night.

Oooh, that is such an adorable Tilda--looks like one of the vintage Tildas. Hmm...I wonder if Diana can still get it from Sweden. Love you card--lucky Jayne. Colour scheme is great and beautifully coloured.

Take care. Drink lots of water! Ice cold ones even better.

Hi Candy! Love how you colored Tilda's pretty outfit! matches perfectly to your dp!

I think you asked me about paper. I seem to have them all (until I hear about another brand and NEED that too!) Mostly I use Neenah classic crest solar white right now-I like how the copics blend on it. I also love Papertrey Ink's white select. I'm an internet shopper mostly as the nearest store is over an hour away from me.
Hope this helps!
Your cards are great! cheryl
